ARTIST STATEMENT
Daena Ladeesse's art explores the interconnection between the physical and spiritual realms, aiming to promote collective healing. Through a poetic lens, her work delves into themes of transplantation, colonialism, and coexistence. Employing diverse media, Ladeesse creates experiences intended to reconcile sacredness with materiality. Notably, her work has been shown in NO.9 CORK STREET Frieze gallery. Her work was featured in Vogue Magazine for the collective exhibition titled "Manifold" and performed at « Move », a performance festival at Centre Pompidou.
